Administrative Section of the Slovak Medical University

Overview of the Section:

• oversees the entry of medical workers into all forms of specialized study and professional practice in health care with respect to § 70 of the Regulation of the Government of the Slovak Republic No. 296/2010 Coll. on professional qualification for health care practice, on the methods of further education of health care workers, on the system of specialization fields, and on the system of certified occupations;
  • oversees the personalization of proficiency index, medical procedure registries and registries of other professional activities, and keeps records of issued study documents.
• manages the registry of health care workers entered into specialized study by ministries or by other educational institutions, and keeps a database of related documents, with respect to § 47 of Act No. 576/2004 Coll.
• issues certificates of equivalence for specializations of physicians with respect to § 101 of Act No. 578/2004 Coll. on health care providers, health care workers, professional organizations and the amendment of other Acts. It also keeps a database of them.
